Struggling to find a pair of camouflage trousers? Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered! Together, we’ll explore the distinct regions in London, Ont. and everything they have to offer for all your shopping needs.

1. Downtown

The heart of the city presents an array of eateries, shopping hubs, spas and more. A few of its main shopping attractions are in Citi Plaza, Covent Garden Market, and Richmond Row.

A range of amenities including retail, fitness, education, nutrition, and entertainment are situated in Citi Plaza with several prominent tenants. This business tower’s leading facilities include the London Public Library, GoodLife Fitness, Imagine Cinemas, and the Fox & Fiddle pub. Surrounding these services are a few retail stores like Dollarama, Ardene, and S&H Health Foods. Whether you’re finishing up a workout, a movie or a book, be sure to visit one of these shops, at your convenience. 

Covent Garden Market

After leaving the Covent Garden Market, you may come out smelling like roses. I promise you’ll have an exhilarating experience here. You can expect to visit several cultural eateries, fresh produce stands, deli shops, and a variety of specialty retailers.

Richmond Row

This is the iconic go-to destination for nightlife fun, exquisite dining, and one-of-a-kind boutiques. On this street, you will uncover trendy retail stores like Urban Outfitters, Lifestyles Women’s Wear, The Closet Inc., and The Running Room.

2. West London

West London exquisitely displays the greenery in the Forest City as it engulfs many parks like McKillop Park, Greenway Park, Springbank Park and the Thames Valley Golf Club. In addition to its picturesque parks, it also encompasses London Mall (and surrounding area), Cherryhill Village Mall, Westmount Mall, Oakridge, and Byron.

When you think of this area, think big! This location offers a range of wholesalers, like Costco, Sobeys, RONA, Food Island Supermarket, and Farm Boy. As well, you will find an array of eateries along with a few neighbouring malls like Cherryhill Mall and Sherwood Mall to satisfy all your shopping needs.

3. East London

Whether you’re looking to catch some outdoor shows at the Western Fair District or a tour at The Royal Canadian Regiment Museum, East London is the spot for you. This tourist friendly district must be explored with its wide range of fun activities. Be sure to check some shops in Old East Village, Argyle Plaza/Mall, and Dundas Street.

Here, on the city’s most popular street, you will stumble upon several affordable retailers. Some notable shopping locations include Gibraltar’s Weekend Market, the Beer Store, Work Authority, Value Village, Highbury Ford Sales, and McCulloch’s Costume & Party Supplies.

4. North London

Yes, it’s expensive, but you have to treat yourself! This part of town will take care of all your luxury spending. For some of its finest shopping areas, visit Huron Heights, CF Masonville Place, and London Northwest shopping mall.

This is undoubtedly one of the best malls this city has to offer. Eateries, a cinema, the Rec Room, and many luxurious shops dwell in this mall. After a game night in The Rec Room, visit stores like H&M, Sport Chek, Ardene, Zara, Guess, Aerie, Aritzia, Sephora, Torrid, Michael Kors, Lululemon, and Atmosphere.

5. South London

Many industrial factories, recreational centers, fast food eateries and resource centres reside in this area of the city. Despite its hectic traffic as it intersects with Highway 401, it will deliver inarguably the best shopping experience in town! Plan your trips to Westwood Centre, Wellington Road South, and Wharncliffe Road South for some enjoyable shopping!

Wellington Road South

This is another prominent street in London that guarantees to fulfill your shopping needs. Many major retailers call this street home. Some of these shopping hot spots include Wellington Commons, Wellington Woods Plaza, and White Oaks Mall. There are also some exclusive retailers on this street including Elle Couture, Dress911, Tweeds, MEC (Mountain Equipment Co-op), and The Treadmill Factory.
